This individual displays a large number of red and green berries that will be ripe by the end of Fall. Growing and spreading aggressively in the coastal lowlands, arid upland forests, and vacant fields, this plant has become a serious threat to native species. The seeds are easily spread by birds. Often growing in association with other noxious weeds such as guava and lantana.
