The "wreck" of the CARTHAGINIAN, an authentic reproduction of the historic coastal lugger (okay, it's a sail-powered cargo transport) that, for lack of maintenance funding, was sold (to the company that runs one of the Atlantis Submarines out of Lahaina) and sunk in a strategic spot close to the normal tour route of the submarine for the benefit of camera-wielding tourists (like me).

One of the Atlantis submarines moored offshore from Lahaina. The full underwater tour is good value for the money spent. Occasionally the sub encounters Humpback whales, a rare treat (or so I'm told).
